The Chief Executive Officer of the institute was recently engaged by ACDI VOCA to train about 700 of its VSLA group leaders on leadership and decision making, conflicts resolution, roles and resomsibilities of VSLA leaders, Apex VSLA and digitization of VSLA was done within a period of two months in Northern and Upper West regions. A simplified, context and age appropriateness manual was developed and used to engage the targted participants in their local languages. Experienced members of the institute speaking the languages of the people in all the regions indicates the diverse nature of the group. A quick assessment of all groups showed improved knowledge and willingness to act with acquired knowledge
