Why ILSC-AFRICA
The Institute of Leadership for Social Change-Africa (ILSCA) believes sustainable social change in Africa starts with developing leaders with integrated values and principles, making the right choices the first time, every time.
Studies highlight that poverty and inequality on the African continent arise from poor Leadership, lacking accountability, corruption, nepotism, and unfavorable Global conditions affecting African economies. The role of leaders play in weakening institutions and influencing the ineffectiveness of implementing development programmes is evident in Africa.
Sustainable social change and development in combatting poverty are possible by changing leaders’ mindsets across generations of leaders and building a leadership pipeline with contemporary African principles and values to bring effective change in the socio-economic conditions of people in Africa.
