The institute carried out this assignment across eight regions of the country and worked with over 120 mental health self-groups and their caretakers. Topics covered included group formation, leadership and decision making, influencing change and building teams, understanding local governance structures and entrepreneurship. The two months assignment was highly successful as evaluations pointed to participants high level of satisfaction. The contract sum stood at GHC250,000.
